Why are the culprits roaming around fearlessly? On the one hand, the government does not get tired of talking about the safety of journalists, and on the other hand, a journalist is being killed by entering his house through the sarpanch. Journalist asks why action is zero even after two days…? Please tell that the news is about the attack on a journalist in Sambalpur village under the assembly constituency of Nawagarh MLA Gurudayal Singh Banjare of Bemetara district. The applicant journalist Ranjit Banjare told that my brother had demanded information from the Panchayat under the Right to Information. Where the sarpanch and his nephew and others barged into my house in Sambalpur village for fear of giving certified information and thrashed me with iron rods, sticks and hand fists while quarreling and abusing me. Due to which I am hurt. However, in the case, the police have covered their face by registering a crime on minor sections and are seen talking about the investigation. Enraged by the said incident, dozens of journalists of the district have submitted an application to the Superintendent of Police, urging them to take appropriate action against all those involved in the case. Dozens of journalists who came to submit the same application strongly condemned the incident. Along with this, he has said that if the police department does not take proper action in 5 days, then all of us journalists will be forced to protest. Whose full responsibility will be of the administration.
