Transportation of 25 tonnes at a royalty of 15 tonnes

Garvit Matrabhoomi / Sakti:- The newly appointed administrative staff of the new district Sakti needs strict action to change the old junk system running in the new district. The district formation is now going to take two months. In such a situation, the district administration, using its power, needs to work first in the old corrupt working style going on in the district.Tightening the revenue loss of crores per month to the government. By immediately reining in the old corrupt system, the government can be benefitted in crores every month. Many crushers and mines are operating under Sakti district. Most of these dolomite mines are operating in rural areas adjoining Baradwar. The government has to pay royalty around Rs 140 per tonne on a tonne to tonne basis on the stone coming out of the dolomite mine. Crusher operators transport 25 to 27 tonnes of dolomite stone on the back of a cart carrying a royalty pad of 15 tonnes. In this way, about 10 tonnes of royalty behind every vehicle is easily stolen. These stolen stones are made into ballast and sold in raw transactions. In this way, by cheating the government twice, the crusher operators cheat the government of crores every month. Those who understand this racket of corruption are now continuously spreading their feet in this business. This is the reason that in the last few years, the number of crusher operators in Baradwar area is increasing continuously. While government tax is being evaded from raw transactions, crores of rupees are being lost to the government by transporting more than the load per vehicle. If the experts are to be believed, in this whole scam, only a few rupees are given to the administrative staff by these corrupt people for only a few programs. Whereas by curbing this fraud, the government administration can earn crores of income per month. Time will decide for how long and what action the new district administration takes to curb this game of royalty theft that is openly happening. At present, the arbitrariness of the crusher operators is still going on. Which is at the mercy of the administration.
