Bemetara 04 November 2022- The meeting of District Level Bankers Consultative Committee and District Level Review Committee was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Collector Jitendra Kumar Shukla in the Disha-Sabha room of Joint District Office. The collector told the bankers that Bemetara is an agricultural district. To increase the income of the farmers, along with agricultural production, work towards the production of animal husbandry, poultry, fisheries, and horticulture crops and try to increase the income of the farmers. He directed the departmental officers of the district to get the benefits of beneficiary oriented schemes. So that the standard of living of the people can be changed. The collector said that the loan related cases are pending in the banks, they should be settled at the earliest. Bankers should not make people go around in the name of sanctioning loans. He said that K.C.C. The loan also aims to promote animal husbandry/fisheries. The Collector directed to give benefits of major beneficiary oriented schemes of Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program, Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana, Stand Up Scheme, National Urban Livelihood Mission, National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) etc. to the people. The CEO of Zilla Panchayat, Mrs. Leena Kamlesh Mandavi said that the self-help group has applied for group loan approval, action should be taken on it at the earliest. Lead bank manager said that PAN card is not necessary to open a bank account of a SHG. Reserve Bank of India Branch Manager, Shri Gopinath, who came from Raipur, told the bankers that under the schemes of the government, the applications submitted by the common people should be accepted as per rules at the earliest. The target of the district under the National Rural Livelihood Mission is 400. Against which 705 applications have been submitted so far. LDM informed that 75 branches of 21 banks are operating in the district, including 19 of District Co-operative Central Bank, 20 of Gramin Bank and other 36 branches of nationalized and private banks, which have 44 ATMs operating. Through which services are being provided to the customers. Directed to set up one more ATM at Nagar Panchayat Headquarters Maro. Under the financial literacy campaign in the district, under the leadership of Lead Bank, Financial Literacy Centers are being organized in the villages from time to time, in which the villagers will be given bank deposit accounts, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, ATM , internet, banking, cashless transactions, Publicity is being done by the Self Help Group regarding the Pancha Sutra program of bank credit linkage etc. Apart from this, awareness is also being made to avoid fraud by online fraud and fake calls related to internet banking. Villagers are also advised not to invest money in chit fund companies. In the end, the Collector directed the banks to complete the targets of the schemes within the time-limit. In the meeting, Gopinath of Reserve Bank of India Raipur branch, District Development Officer of District Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (NABARD), Durg, Shri MM. Bara, Lead Bank Officer Bemetara Shri Santosh Ayam, General Manager Industries Department Ravish Kumar, Deputy Director Agriculture Mordhwaj Dadsena, Assistant Director Fisheries Yavan Dindore, Chief Municipal Officer Bemetara Bhupendra Upadhyay, District Cooperative Central Bank Nodal Officer DM Dehare, Including bankers of the district were present. Show-Cause Notice- In today’s meeting, the Collector directed to issue a show-cause notice against Praveen Kumar Lata, the officer of the District Entrepreneur Finance Development Corporation. This action was taken due to non-availability of proper information during the review of his department.
